Growing up in the St. Louis area, Bradley Beal often sought a place where he could play ball and hone his game to get to the NBA.
Those that come after him will not want for such a place, because they will have The Beal Center.

The facility opened last year under the name Chesterfield Sports Complex and has been the home base for Bradley Beal Elite since last March. However, a ceremony was held on Thursday to announce the complex was being renamed The Beal Center. Brad was on hand for the special event and spoke on how much it means to him.
“My family and friends, everybody had a lot to do with my journey to get here and the Bradley Beal Elite program too,” he said. “I’d like it to continue more than just me.”
The Beal Center is the St. Louis area’s first-of-its-kind, world-class, indoor volleyball and basketball complex. The complex has nine basketball courts which convert to 18 volleyball courts. It is equipped with Olympic-level flooring and an LED lighting system adjustable to basketball and volleyball play and features courtside spectator seating as well as a second-floor mezzanine seating. The arena also features HD/4K streaming cameras for tournament broadcasting purposes. Beyond the arena area, the Beal Center has a fitness area, lounge areas and multipurpose rooms for team rooms, meetings and classes and full food service operations.
As the venue enters its second fall season of operations, it is set to host not only Bradley Beal Elite’s practices and future Nike sponsored AAU events, it will also hold
youth basketball clinics and and tournaments hosted by local, regional and national basketball and volleyball leagues. The facility has already hosted gymnastics and martial arts competitions as well as birthday parties, corporate and sports team events. Additionally, an on-site ACE Performance Lab also allows for year-round performance training and classes.
In addition to Bradley Beal Elite, other teams that call The Beal Center home include some of the best youth basketball and volleyball programs in the region and the nation, as well as athletes of all levels: High Performance STL, Stratman Sports and CNR Basketball. The facility’s medical provider, Mercy Sports Medicine, has athletic trainers on site for all practices, games and tournaments.
The facility has been and will continue to be operated by Chesterfield Sports Association and CSA Executive Director Stuart Duncan was thrilled to expand the partnership with Brad through the naming of the venue.
“We are incredibly excited to see the sign go up on The Beal Center and mark this amazing space for what it is — one of the top basketball and volleyball facilities in the country,” said Duncan. “In the little time we have been open, this sports complex has attracted dozens of national sporting events, had the Bradley Beal Elite U16 team win national championships, expanded programming and helped underserved youth access experience the positive impact of sports. The future is so bright for basketball and volleyball in St. Louis!”
