Bradley Beal will soon embark on his second season with the Phoenix Suns and he now knows at least one stop on the redemption tour, Christmas Day in Denver against the Nuggets.

The NBA’s Christmas Day schedule dropped this week with the usual five games on the slate, and the fourth of those games will be the Suns taking a trip to the Mile High City to take on the Denver Nuggets. Both Western Conference teams came up short of their goal of a NBA Championship, or even reaching the Western Conference Finals last season, the Nuggets as the defending NBA Champions and the Suns as one of the preseason favorites after Brad joined the team. Both teams were knocked out of the postseason last year by the Minnesota Timberwolves.

The Suns played three head-to-head games with Denver last season, including two on the road in Denver, and won both of those. No. 3 played in both games, averaging 13 points, 6.5 assists and five rebounds per game.

BB has played in just two Christmas Day games in his career, both for the Washington Wizards, and the Wiz won both games, over the Knicks at Madison Square Garden in 2014 and the Celtics at TD Garden in 2017. Brad averaged 21 points per game in those Christmas Day wins. Phoenix did host Dallas on Christmas Day last year, but No. 3 missed that game. He’ll look to suit up for his third career Christmas Day game, and first in seven years in 2024.
