When the Phoenix Suns assembled the trio of Bradley Beal, Devin Booker and Kevin Durant, they did so with the intent of allowing each player to pick up the slack when the others inevitably had to miss time with the various ailments that come along with a long NBA season.
But when the Suns lost at home on Sunday — just their second loss of the season and their first in more than two weeks, despite a season-high 28 points from Beal, the absence of Durant loomed large.
Two nights later, Phoenix began a road trip without Durant, playing their 2024 NBA Cup opener in Utah. But thanks to Brad and Devin Booker combining for 55 of the team’s 120 points, they staved off another loss, emerging with a 120-112 victory over the Jazz, their ninth win in 11 games so far this season.
Brad did exit the game with 7:19 to play due to calf tightness, but the extent of that injury is not yet known. Check out his highlights from the big win below.
