Bradley Beal had one of his best shooting performances of the season on Thursday to spark a three-game Phoenix Suns winning streak to get back to .500.
Brad scored a game-high 25 points on an efficient 11-of-16 from the field and added seven rebounds, two assists, three steals and a block as Phoenix topped Atlanta 123-115.
“I was just playing my game. Just having fun doing that. We’re at our best when we’re doing that, when we’re having fun, bodies moving, ball is moving, playing good defense. That’s when the Suns were at their best so hopefully we can keep that mojo going.”
Phoenix did just that over the weekend, following the statement victory over Atlanta with two more Ws.
On Saturday they beat the Utah Jazz (114-106) and on Sunday it was the Charlotte Hornets (120-113). No. 3 had 12 points and three assists in the win over Utah and added 15 points and six assists to help Phoenix beat Charlotte.
The three straight wins pushed Phoenix back to 19-19 on the season, still very much in the thick of things in the Western Conference.
“It’s a collective effort. We just have to do it defensively, and realize that’s the only way we’re going to win, and get our mojo back, is to do it on the defensive end.”
