Bradley Beal has six fewer years of NBA experience than Los Angeles Clippers guard J.J. Redick, but the veteran found a valuable move to steal from the Washington Wizards star.

Tuesday on The Bill Simmons Podcast, the 32-year-old Redick revealed that he swiped a trick from Beal’s bag, coining it the throw-and-go:

“I stole this from Bradley Beal, and now guys are stealing it from me, but I call it the throw-and-go,” Redick said. “It’s almost like a pick-and-roll. It’s the same action, except I have a head start on my defender, because he’s not expecting it. I stole it from Bradley Beal.”

“Bradley Beal is becoming a force,” Simmons replied.
